Why should I hire a lawyer for a car accident?

Traffic accidents are some of the most common problems that affect our society, and most victims think they can handle the legal proceedings and negotiations that come with dealing with insurance companies by themselves.

However, to properly handle the legal problems that come with traffic accidents, it’s better to have someone who specializes in the field take care of it.

It requires a lot of specialized knowledge such as: knowledge of medical care, knowledge of insurance, experience with determining appropriate negligence, and knowledge of how to get recognition for a residual disability.

It is not uncommon for victims and their families to deal with the situation on their own without consulting a specialist, resulting in irreparable consequences.

*If you get into a car accident, call the police at 110 first. Get all the details of the other driver, then call a lawyer if you’re concerned about getting proper monetary compensation for your suffering. Our phone number is 080-6664-3617.

Reaching out to a lawyer to get help with your traffic accident legal needs might seem intimidating, but it is absolutely worth the time and effort. In many cases, just consulting with a lawyer can create the best way to a good solution for you.

If you prepare the materials you’ll need for your consultation, such as a medical certificate, you can bring them with you and get professional advice much more smoothly and quickly.

However, even if you don’t have your documents with you, you still might be able to receive consultation from one of our lawyers about the approximate amount of compensation you can receive and the procedures to get it.

Every victim deserves a good consultation, so why not get yours by talking with a lawyer for just 5 or 10 minutes? It’s no obligation, so you can test the waters for yourself!

I have decided to hire a lawyer. How much will it cost?

If you decide to engage one of our lawyers after your consultation, you will pay lawyer fees for their service. These fees are only paid after the case is successfully resolved, and if your insurance includes a special lawyer fee contract then you will not have to pay anything at all!

The fees are summarized in the table below:

For example, if your total compensation is 6,000,000 yen, then your lawyer fees will be 600,000 yen + 200,000 yen + tax, plus any travel and personal expenses (such as postage fees, accommodation fees, etc).

If, in an extremely rare case, your compensation ends up being less than 200,000 yen, we will only take 50% of your total compensation as lawyer fees. For example, if your total compensation is 200,000 yen, you lawyer fees will be 100,000 + tax, plus any travel and personal expenses. Either way, you will never pay for one of our lawyers out of your own pocket.

It is difficult enough as a car accident victim to focus on your treatments. Having a lawyer help you with receiving proper compensation, including negotiating with the insurance companies and the perpetrators, will give you peace of mind.
